Yes. Enclave is a PWA (Progressive Web App). On your phone's browser, tap "Add to Home Screen" to install it as a native-feeling app with push notifications.
Yes! Enclave has a native desktop app for Windows and Linux (macOS coming soon). It includes instant startup with a bundled client, global push-to-talk hotkeys, enclave:// deep links, native notifications, gamepad/joystick PTT support, and auto-updates. Download it here.
Currently English, Spanish, French, and Japanese. More languages are coming. You can change your language in User Settings → Language.
Direct messages: Yes. DMs use ECDH key exchange with AES-256-GCM encryption. Messages are encrypted on your device before being sent — not even the server can read them.
Server messages: No. Server (channel) messages are stored in plaintext on the server, similar to Discord and Telegram groups. This is necessary for features like search, bots, and message history.
No. Zero telemetry, zero analytics, zero activity tracking, zero third-party data sharing. We don't even track which features you use. See our Privacy Policy.
Yes. Go to User Settings → Privacy & Safety → Export My Data to download a JSON file with all your account data.
Yes. Go to User Settings → My Account → Danger Zone → Delete Account. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
No. Just a username, email, and password. We don't require phone verification.
Yes. WebRTC-based voice channels with video and screen sharing. Supports voice activity detection, push-to-talk, and open mic modes. You can also select your microphone, speaker, and screen share quality.
Yes. Enclave has a full Bot API. Create bots in Server Settings → Manage Bots, then use the REST API or Socket.IO to send messages and listen for events. See the Bot API docs.
Yes. Create webhooks in Server Settings → Manage Webhooks. Any external service can POST to the webhook URL to send messages to a channel. No authentication required — just the webhook token.
Yes. Enclave has a Discord import tool that brings over your server structure, channels, and message history. Imported messages show an "IMPORTED" badge.
Admins can set a custom vanity URL for their server, like enclaveapp.online/myserver. Set it in Server Settings.
Yes. Hover over any message and click the thread icon to start a threaded discussion. Thread replies don't clutter the main channel.
Use the /poll slash command to create a poll with up to 10 options. Members can vote and see results in real-time.
Yes. Full-text search with filters for user, date range, channel, and content type (files, links, images). Click the search icon in the top bar.
Admins can create custom roles with specific permissions (30+ permission flags). Roles have colors that show in the member list. Assign roles to members from the member sidebar.
Yes. Each channel can have per-role permission overrides. Right-click a channel and go to Edit Channel → Permissions.
Admins can set a cooldown on channels (e.g., 5 seconds). Members must wait between messages. Set it in channel settings.
Yes. Create scheduled events with a name, description, date/time, and optional image. Members can RSVP as "Interested".

Go to the billing panel (click the crown icon in the sidebar) and click "Manage Subscription". You can cancel anytime — your Pro features remain active until the end of the billing period.
